I led the redesign of Dalem Kaum Street in Bandung, Indonesia, focusing on enhancing pedestrian spaces and optimizing traffic flow. The project included the creation of a second-level road to improve both vehicular and pedestrian circulation, expanding sidewalks, and reducing the street to a single lane with gentle curves to slow down traffic. A uniform design for street vendors was implemented, alongside the use of local vegetation and sustainable materials.

The main challenge was balancing the need for urban functionality with the desire for aesthetic and environmental sustainability. The success of the project lies in its ability to prioritize pedestrians while creating a vibrant, accessible urban space that enhances the community’s daily life.
